How does the waterpark and all-inclusive bar work at an Egypt resort?

According to guest relations, complimentary bottled water can only be taken from the beach/pool bar, not from the restaurant. That bar opens at 10:00, so stock up on water in advance for the night and early morning.

Ice cream for kids is hard to find: at the pool bar it runs out within 30 minutes of opening, and the ice cream promised for dinner at the restaurant never actually showed up during the whole stay.

The pools are generally somewhat dirty — in the central pool areas you constantly feel sand underfoot, despite the resort's large green grounds.

The waterpark has a lazy river — many guests spend their afternoons floating along it near the waterpark pool.

One of the poolside bars was effectively not operating during the whole first half of the day — just a sign was hanging, no actual service. Guests got their drinks from a different, ground-level bar and brought them into the pool.

The waterpark operates on a split schedule: roughly 10:00–13:00 and 14:00–17:00, closing at 17:00. Only about half the slides are running — three inside the pyramid and two or three others. There is little shade near the wave pool aside from the umbrellas by the sun loungers.

Guests staying in the Garden section can freely visit the neighbouring Sea Life and Club sections, which have animators and poolside music during the day. The Garden itself goes quiet after 17:00 — the main pool has no music or entertainment until the brief evening mini-disco.

The hotel bar operates on a self-service basis — you walk up, order, take your drink and go. No queues, no hassle. The hotel is considered good value for money.

Room water is restocked automatically during daily housekeeping without needing to ask. The minibar typically contains only water, no other drinks.

The waterpark is open until sunset and serves non-alcoholic drinks throughout the day. Active attractions include pyramid slides, a rainbow slide, a snake slide, a tube slide, a wave pool, and a kids' zone — great for an afternoon visit with children.

Sun loungers and a bar are located next to the wave pool. You can grab a beer from the bar and relax on a lounger while kids enjoy the slides — staff don't object as long as you're not overdoing it.
