TL;DR
Food quality at Egypt's all-inclusive hotels has noticeably declined recently: seafood is rare, beef dominates the menu, vegetables are scarce, and restaurant service has worsened.
The hotel disappointed from day one, especially the food. No decent vegetables, not even enough for a basic salad. Dinner consisted of dry turkey and tasteless fish, leaving guests to make do with wine and cheese. Nearby Albatros hotel near the airport was reportedly much better and cheaper.
A returning guest who visited 4 years ago was deeply disappointed. The concept has changed: waitstaff no longer serve drinks at the main restaurant — guests must get them themselves. Seafood appeared only 3 times over 2 weeks (shrimp and squid), with tasteless fried fish being the only other option. The menu is mostly beef-based, forcing guests to rely on pasta and mashed potatoes. Alcohol is served strictly from 10:00 AM, and an iced coffee order resulted in a glass of milk with ice and instructions to use the self-serve machine.
Guests visiting the hotel for the fifth time found the food noticeably worse than on all previous stays — the most disappointing experience yet.
