How to choose a family-friendly hotel in Egypt with kids?

For a small child, a kids club and organized entertainment are essential — without them a toddler will get bored. Also compare prices for the same hotel across different tour operators, as rates can vary.

Families with kids generally like the hotel — children are happy, though the family spends limited time on the hotel grounds. Food is decent, but fruit selection is limited.

Vacation with kids is more comfortable when there are fewer noisy children's groups at the dining table. Otherwise kids usually do well: there's a beach for playing and decent playgrounds; if the kids club isn't a hit, parents can entertain them themselves (evening disco, camel ride at the local market). Ask in advance whether the children's pool is closed for renovation.
