Sultan vs Sunrise resort in Egypt — which is better for families with kids?

A family who stayed at multiple resorts including Domina, Jolie Ville, and Nubian ultimately rated Sultan as the best option for traveling with children.

A toddler (age 2) visited Sultan two years in a row — the sea entry there is ideal for very young children. The main concern about Sunrise is the beach entry into the sea.

At Sultan, children can swim from the pier with a clearly visible seabed and shallow entry — very comfortable and safe for kids. The only downside noted is one pool slide that may be intimidating for younger children.

At Palace-type resorts, the sea entry from a pontoon drops immediately into deep water with no visible bottom — even confident child swimmers found it frightening. Sultan is much more comfortable by comparison.
