There's a large fruit market in the Al Dahar district — prices there are noticeably cheaper than near hotels, and it's popular with locals for both fruit and clothes shopping. Worth checking how convenient the trip is from your area, otherwise buying at nearby stalls may be simpler.

Based on recent prices, regular fruit stalls and supermarkets around Hurghada now have a decent selection, with prices starting at about 35 EGP per kilogram.

If you do decide to go to the market, it is typically open until late evening, around 10:00 pm.

Fruit stalls are spread all over Hurghada — the easiest option without any travel. Supermarkets like Spinneys, Gomla, Best Way, and Carrefour are also good alternatives.
