Based on traveler feedback, Dana Beach and some parts of Al Dau are better for easier sea entry, while Alcazar is mostly a pier-and-reef setup with a weaker reef. At Sunrise, the reef starts from a long wooden pier with about 10 m depth, while Park Regency, Diamond, and Montemare have only average beach entry and can be shallow at low tide.

At Park Regency, travelers described the sea entry as only average: during low tide the water is around waist-deep, and after that you reach coral and deeper water. It suits guests who can tolerate a shallow shoreline.

Travelers speak well of Sunrise properties where the reef is accessed from a solid wooden pier, with about 10 meters of depth right off the end. At Diamond, the beach entry is slightly better than at Montemare, but even there the nearshore depth is only around waist level at high tide. Both hotels have water slides.

At Al Dau, some parts of the beach have a decent sea entry, but Dana Beach’s lagoon is deeper and generally more comfortable for swimming. Alcazar is more of a pier hotel: shore entry is less convenient, and the reef at the end of the pier is considered fairly weak.
