There's an ATM near White Hills hotel (to the left of the exit) that successfully dispenses Egyptian pounds for Union Pay cards (RSHB bank). Also, the new Fix Price shop in Naama Bay has a currency exchange machine — insert $20 cash and it dispenses pounds; staff are mostly Russian-speaking and can help.

ATMs in Sharm el-Sheikh do not exchange cash dollars for Egyptian pounds — they only dispense money from cards. If you only have cash, you'll need a currency exchange office instead.

Standard ATM withdrawal limit in Sharm el-Sheikh is around 4,200 EGP per transaction. Fee for foreign cards is typically around 250 RUB equivalent.
