Which building or zone to choose at Xanadu Makadi Bay resort — main, Dunes, Lagoons or Club?

Xanadu Makadi and Xanadu Club share one territory — pools, entertainment arena and animation are all joint. The main difference is building type and distance to the beach. Pools are good throughout, and most guests spend their time there rather than at the sea.

Xanadu Club is a large hotel-style building, the closest zone to the beach — just 2 minutes to the sand and 2 minutes to its own restaurant. Best choice if proximity to the sea is the priority.

The Dunes zone in Xanadu Makadi features low-rise bungalow-style buildings. It's about 4 minutes to the beach and 4 minutes to the main restaurant. Food quality is reportedly better here than in the Club section.

The Lagoons zone is on the same line as Xanadu Club, so it's closer to the sea than the Dunes. Like the Dunes, it offers small low-rise buildings rather than a large hotel block.

A garden-view room is typically the furthest from the sea and pool action. It's worth asking at reception for a free upgrade — one guest successfully moved to a pool-view room, 5 minutes from the restaurant and 7 minutes from the beach at no extra cost.

Building 8 is next to the water slides and a restaurant, but it's the furthest from the beach. In practice, the extra walking distance compared to other buildings is not dramatic.
