How to get a public transport card at Tbilisi airport?

One public transport card can be used to pay fares for multiple passengers, so you do not need to buy a separate card for each person.

The best place to buy a transit card is the bank in the departures hall: exit the arrivals area, turn right, walk about 100 meters, and enter the departures hall. You can top up the card right there. The same bank exists in arrivals, but they often refuse to sell cards there — and shady taxi touts hang around it, seemingly in cahoots with staff.

The card itself costs 2 GEL, and each ride costs 1 GEL. You can top it up at the airport bank or at top-up terminals around the city.
