Are there shops and pharmacies within walking distance of hotels in Alanya, Turkey?

There's a supermarket across the road, right after passing the Onkel hotel, about a 10-minute walk from the hotel.

Near the hotels there are many shops, including grocery chains: Migros, Carrefour, BIM, and A-101. Pharmacies are also along the street with the shopping cluster. The best lira exchange rate can be gotten by making a purchase at Migros or LC Waikiki.

According to recent feedback (2026), traveling to the shopping mall for good deals is no longer as worthwhile as it was in 2022. However, Alanya itself has many interesting shops, including ones with quality clothing, reachable by bus in about 20 minutes.

If you leave the hotel toward the road and walk to the right, after about 10–15 minutes you’ll reach a small shopping complex and a pharmacy; a recognizable landmark is the canopy of colorful umbrellas. About 150 meters farther there is another similar cluster of shops and a second pharmacy, reportedly with a better grocery selection.

In the direction opposite Alanya, there is a shopping mall that is closer than Alanya itself; it was described as having an LC Waikiki and a small Migros. Some travelers got there for free using a tour-operator shuttle that drops people at a fur store, then returned by taxi or dolmuş.

In the Göynük area, small shops line the street starting from the ship-hotel Transatlantic and going uphill. Further up, near the main intersection, you'll find a Migros and a BIM supermarket.

Across from the hotel there is a large shopping centre with many Turkish chain stores, plus a market and pharmacies nearby. The hotel is situated right in the village, so everything is within walking distance.

For hotels in the Kargicak area, the nearest village with shops is Kadrie (fare ~70 lira). There is a Tuesday market and pharmacies there. From Kadrie to Antalya costs another 140 lira. Serious shopping requires a trip out.

Right outside many hotels in Alanya you'll find hundreds of small shops — great for casual shopping.

A short walk from the hotel leads to a bazaar on one side and an Outlet mall on the other. The outlet has a pharmacy and a brand surplus store (formerly had a large Zara section, now more modest). UnionPay cards accepted at a good rate.

Bus #30 stops right at the hotel and runs in three directions: to Alanya city, Konakli, or Alara Bazaar — handy if you need a proper supermarket or specific items.

Alara Bazaar, the closest of the three bus destinations, has everything you need including a Migros supermarket open late.
