Where can you buy an AntalyaKart at Antalya Airport Terminal 1, and can you pay in cash if you only have US dollars?

If you arrive at Terminal 1, don’t look for a staffed counter inside the terminal first — check the AntalyaKart machines at the Antray tram stop next to the terminal. That’s the usual place to buy the card before heading into the city.

Having only US dollars can be a problem: AntalyaKart machines typically take Turkish lira rather than cash in USD. The practical solution is to withdraw TRY from an ATM or exchange a small amount at the airport first, then buy the card.

If the tram-stop machine is out of order or won’t accept your bank card, the fallback option is to take a bus or taxi from the airport to a larger transport hub and buy an AntalyaKart there. But for Terminal 1 arrivals, the tram stop by the airport is the first place to try.

Don’t confuse the terminal building with the transport area: for Terminal 1 passengers, card purchase is usually tied to the Antray line rather than the check-in or arrivals hall. On maps, look for the transit stop instead of a sales office inside the terminal.

Older map listings can make the sales point hard to spot, so if you can’t find it online, head toward the tram exit from Terminal 1. For most arrivals, that’s the quickest way to locate an AntalyaKart machine without wandering around the airport.
