TL;DR
Families with kids rate Utopia hotel beach (gentle slope, fine sand), Belek, and Beldibi highly. Lara Beach is also good but further from Antalya center.
If you plan to go to the beach every day, Konyaaltı can be a practical option: it has a long seafront of about 7 km, cafes nearby, and easy access to central Antalya. That can be a plus for families who want city infrastructure close to the beach.
Near Konyaaltı, about 300 metres from the hotel towards Alanya, there is a small sandy spot with an easy sea entry — comfortable for families with children.
On the promenade near Megasaray, almost opposite Riviera, there is a municipal beach. A sun lounger costs 300 lira.
Utopia hotel beach is great for kids: gentle entry into the water, fine sand, and green grounds. Families with children have enjoyed it, though the stairs on the property are quite steep.
The hotel pier is very convenient — one step and you're in the sea, with plenty of free sun loungers. Works well for adults or older kids. For small children, large resort hotels in Lara with expansive grounds are a better fit.
Beldibi is a solid alternative to Kemer: cleaner sea, wider beach, and a short drive from Antalya Airport. Good choice for families.
Lara Beach is well-regarded for families with children, but it's far from Antalya city center. If proximity to the city matters, consider other options.
Belek is traditionally considered one of the best family beach destinations in the Antalya region. Side and Kizilot are also worth considering for their beaches.
Beach holidays in Kemer-area villages differ noticeably from Antalya city beaches. Antalya beaches are mostly pebble; Kemer also has pebble but with more scenic coves. For kids, always check the specific hotel's sea entry type.
