Which beach and hotel in Belek Turkey is best?

Under Turkish law, the 50-meter coastal strip is public: no hotel can officially claim a beach as fully private, though in practice there are exceptions by mutual understanding.

Review of a budget Belek hotel: beach towels must be brought or bought on site, in-room water is paid but free at the pool and beach, there's no rush for loungers and mattresses are free, food is decent but repetitive, and between 2pm–7pm there's almost nothing to eat, only drinks.

After 5 days at the hotel, a guest reports the beach and sea are the main strength — loungers are always available even at full occupancy. However, the beach bar has a midday break when even a glass of soda isn't available.

One Belek hotel that previously offered private beach bungalows has removed that feature. Loyal repeat guests who returned specifically for that private beach were disappointed, and combined with a general drop in service standards this season, they have decided not to return.
