TL;DR
In Bodrum, travelers usually choose between quieter bays with cleaner water, such as Bitez, Ortakent, and Torba, or livelier areas for evening walks, such as Bodrum Center and Yalıkavak. A remote resort may have calmer water, but often little to walk to outside the hotel.
Personal experience: Arin Resort and Sianji hotels in Bodrum are right on the first line (beachfront), all-inclusive, with clean sea.
When choosing a hotel in Bodrum, check not only the room and food, but also whether there is a promenade nearby. For evening walks, Bodrum Center and Yalıkavak are more convenient; remote resort hotels may have good grounds but little to do outside.
Hotel comparisons only make sense if the properties are in similar parts of Bodrum. Bays differ a lot, so even with similar service levels, the beach and sea feel very different in Bitez, Gümbet, and Torba.
If your main priority is beach and sea cleanliness, travelers often look at Bitez and Ortakent, where the water is usually calmer and the beach setup is more straightforward. For nightlife and a busier waterfront, Gümbet or Bodrum Center are a different style of stay.
Comparisons with Belek are not very useful because it is a different region and coastline. In Bodrum, it is better to ask about the exact bay, sea entry, and the hotel’s own beach rather than only the overall hotel rating.
If you are comparing specific resort hotels, such as Bieno and Linde Resort, do not look only at food and pool quality. In Bodrum, distance to a walkable area is often the deciding factor, because some strong all-inclusive properties are only convenient if you stay inside the resort.
Asking which bay travelers liked most is important in Bodrum, because the overall experience often depends more on the location than on the hotel brand. Out-of-town bays usually offer calmer water and better views, while urban areas give you more cafés, shops, and walking options.
