These types of residences usually have both washing machines and dryers for self-service laundry. Detergent can often be bought at reception for about €5, after which you can do as many loads as you need.

If you do not want to rely on buying detergent on-site, it is convenient to bring your own laundry product, such as dissolvable detergent sheets. Families with children find this especially practical.

It is worth double-checking which machine is the washer and which is the dryer: in one reported setup, the left machine was for washing and the right one was for drying. If you leave laundry unattended after the cycle ends, staff or other guests may move it to the dryer.

For small items like children’s socks, use mesh laundry bags. This reduces the risk of losing items if your laundry gets mixed with someone else’s when moved to the dryer.
