Top sights and attractions to visit in Istanbul

On the Asian side, highlights include the grand Çamlıca Mosque, Beylerbeyi Palace, the charming wooden-house neighborhood of Kuzguncuk, Nakkaştepe Park, and the fishing village of Anadolu Kavağı at the mouth of the Bosphorus.

The Beyoğlu district covers the pedestrian İstiklal Avenue with the Catholic Church of St. Antoine, Taksim Square, Galata Tower, and Galata Bridge. Dolmabahçe Palace on the Bosphorus shore is a short walk away.
