Best beach in Side Turkey — sandy or pebbly?

The sea entry at Side Kervan hotel is awkward — sand mixed with rocks, and it's easier to enter from the left side. Guests recommend walking to the neighbouring Sural hotel beach instead, though rocks can be found there too.

The hotel next to Ulusoy also has its own private beach, though it's somewhat shorter than Ulusoy's stretch.

The beach at Ulusoy hotel is widely regarded as the best sandy beach in Side: clean water, no rocks, and depth starts close to shore. Slight water cloudiness is normal due to the sandy bottom — not a sign of pollution.

For crystal-clear water, Kemer is a better choice — its pebble beaches keep the water perfectly transparent. Side's sandy beaches are clean by sandy-beach standards, but won't match the visibility you get with a pebbly seabed.

Flora Garden in Side is another hotel option with beach access, but its beach is not sandy — a dealbreaker for travelers who specifically want a sandy shoreline.
