Arriving at 1 PM is a good time — the morning crowds have thinned out. A standard ticket plus the Alpine Coaster is a solid combo. Skipping the restaurant package saves time; food can be bought separately and beer is available by coupon until 18:00. The cable car back from the Golden Bridge runs on a fixed schedule: 18:00, 18:10, 19:00, 19:10, 20:00, 20:10, 21:00, 21:10, 22:00, 22:10.

Arriving after 2 PM means you won't reach the village at the top until around 3:30 PM — by the time you board and ride the cable car. At that point the restaurant is already closed, so you can't even have lunch. Plan to arrive earlier to make the most of the visit.
