Is Prime New Hotel in Nha Trang worth booking, and what should you know before staying there?

The older but well-located Erica hotel offers connecting rooms with a shared door — convenient for families with kids who need two adjoining rooms.

A 7th-floor city-view room was in great condition: clean sink, water and bathroom amenities restocked daily. The guest deliberately chose a city view, knowing sea-view rooms are noisier.

Room quality depends heavily on which housekeeping team covers the floor — guests describe it as feeling like two completely different hotels.

During a July 2026 stay, a 13th-floor room looked nothing like the tour operator's photos — stained, scratched walls, a balcony accessible via a fire escape (staff or neighbors could walk in), and no outside handle on the balcony door, requiring guests to pry it open through a gap.

Check the room inventory right away: guests found missing spoons, mismatched cups, and irregularly restocked shower gel/toothpaste. There's no closet — just a clothing rail — and the only mirror is in the bathroom, hung inconveniently high.

The AC worked but was dirty with mold stains on the surrounding wall; the lobby has no air conditioning, so check-in/check-out can be uncomfortably hot. Beach towels are delivered each morning at inconsistent times and can run out — bring your own.

The hotel's location is excellent — right in the center, with a good laundromat across the street. But it's nearly beachfront, so street noise and karaoke from a nearby venue are audible, and during city show rehearsals music played until 1am.
