What are the rooms like in Egyptian all-inclusive hotels — 2-bedroom suites, cleanliness, furniture?

Booked a Courtyard room Garden view with balcony, but actually got a sea-view room in the old main building (rooms start from the 2nd floor there). Hotel website photos/videos match reality, just shot nicely — in person the room looks old. However, housekeeping was exceptional, better than anywhere else.

In updated rooms, bathroom doors are matte tinted glass. In an improved pool-view room (an older category), the bathroom door was wooden with matte glass and a latch — still perfectly fine. Friends stayed in a Deluxe garden-view room, which was already an updated category.

Tip: request a 2nd-floor room in advance rather than the 1st floor, especially with a pool view — on the ground floor it can feel like you're sleeping right next to the pool.

There are bungalows with 4 rooms suitable for groups. Villas have two floors: the upper floor is the living area, the ground floor is guest rooms; a single villa can have up to 5 rooms sharing the ground floor, but they come with sea views and floor-to-ceiling windows.

Villas vary in layout: one family had a 2-bedroom villa, neighbors had a 3-bedroom villa with a living room. Villas are built in a P-shape, offering some privacy and are close to the sea.

A ground-floor chalet in Zone 2 was described as a full family setup: a separate children’s bedroom with two single beds, a master bedroom with its own bathroom, another bathroom with a shower opposite the kids’ room, a large living room, a kitchenette cabinet, and a fridge. The room has direct pool access and is conveniently close to the main restaurant, the sea, and the slides pool. For chalets, guests recommend asking for a router right away.

In lagoon rooms without a private pool, the layout was described as: first bathroom by the entrance, then a room with a sofa and a single bed, a separate second bedroom with a double bed, wardrobe, and bedside tables, plus a second bathroom. Both rooms have access to the terrace.

Some ground-floor rooms come with a small private pool that also has a jacuzzi function; the bubbles and lighting can be switched on separately if you know where the controls are.

A family room on the second line was described as a large three-room option: one bedroom with a large double bed, a separate bedroom with two beds, and a living room with a sofa and two armchairs. It also includes a mini-kitchen and worked very well for a family of four.

A deluxe aqua room was upgraded to a select first-line room: second floor with pool view and a large balcony. Housekeeping is excellent — everything is clean, restocked, and dust-free. The room comes with toothbrushes, washcloths, a razor, cotton pads, and cotton swabs.

In a deluxe room with a sofa bed: when unfolded, the sofa blocks access to the balcony, which is inconvenient for hanging laundry to dry. This is less of an issue in rooms without pool access.

A standard single-room (Palm building, first floor) comes with one double and one single bed. An extra single bed can be requested at reception and pushed together — a family of four (two adults and two children) slept comfortably this way.
