What is the entertainment and animation like at Egyptian resort hotels?

At one resort the animation hall is enclosed with plenty of free seats; animation is conducted in Italian, and guests never saw invited outside performers — just staff animators, sometimes without costumes, doing a brief dance routine.

In the evenings there's often live outdoor music — singing or a saxophone/violin performance, separate from the main animation program.

Evening entertainment follows the typical Egyptian hotel formula: 'Mr & Miss Hotel' contests, dancing, and singing. During the day, female animators work the beach and try to engage guests in activities.
