Is beach entry child-friendly at this Hurghada hotel, or only from the pier?

Recent guests say the sea entry is more child-oriented: it stays shallow for a long stretch, so children and weak swimmers can enter directly from the beach without relying on the pier. However, adults who want proper swimming depth need to walk quite far across the shallow area.
