Where to find shops, pharmacies and cheap excursions near all-inclusive hotels in Turkey (which direction to walk from the hotel)?

TL;DR
Shops, pharmacies and souvenir/excursion stalls are usually just outside the hotel gates, a 1-2 minute walk in one direction — prices there are noticeably lower than inside the resort.
From the hotel gate, turn not left (toward the sea) but right — there's immediately an alley with market stalls and pharmacies.
Excursions are cheaper from street vendors just around the corner from the hotel entrance (either direction along the road) than from the hotel itself — several times cheaper.
Turning left from the hotel exit leads to a row of shops and small stores.
Diapers at the hotel are overpriced — it's cheaper to go to a Migros supermarket or a nearby pharmacy with a wider selection; hotel staff can sometimes deliver items for a small extra fee.
From the hotel, walk left to the traffic light — there's a shop and a pharmacy there, with lower prices than similar spots on the right side.
