Can you find free sun loungers on the beach in Side, Turkey during peak season?

Recent report: around 11:00 AM there were still plenty of free loungers on the beach — people come and go, no need to reserve a spot in advance.

Beach loungers remain available, but poolside loungers are already fully claimed by 8:00 AM by guests who reserve them early and disappear for the day.

A recent report says that even when the hotel was fully booked, there were still many free sun loungers on the beach at 9:00 AM, and a few single spots were still available around 11:30 AM.

According to a recent update, free loungers on the pier are usually still available until about 9:00 AM; after that it gets much busier and spots run out.

If you head toward the beach and then go right through the park, there is a free beach on the left and a paid one on the right. For the free section, it is best to arrive early, as by 9:00 AM all loungers are already taken.

At 10:30 AM there were plenty of free loungers on the beach, though the second row is less desirable. The best spots by the water are taken by around 8 AM. After noon the water becomes murky due to constant wind, waves, and a sandy bottom.

Loungers by the pool were easy to find when arriving at 8:30–9:00 AM. Coming to the beach after 3:30 PM also meant plenty of free spots. Staff place warning notices on loungers left unattended for a long time, but in practice towels are not actually removed. Towels can be picked up and exchanged at the spa in building A near reception.

Loungers on the pier are fully taken by 7:45 AM, while the beach itself still has plenty of free spots at that time. Shaded areas by the pool are also free around 9:15 AM.

At Sueno Beach hotel during peak season, all sun loungers — both poolside and beachfront — are taken by 8:30 AM. Guests start claiming spots from 6:30 AM, often reserving two locations at once (pool and beach) and not showing up until 9–10 AM. Hotel management does not enforce any rules against this.

At Gloria Golf Resort, free sun loungers near the training pool (second row from the beach) are available even at 11 AM. The hotel beach is noticeably less crowded than neighboring properties. A repeat guest visiting for the 8th time confirms consistent satisfaction.

To avoid crowds in Side, early June is much better than late June. Another option is Serenity hotel, where the beach remains half-empty even during the high season.
