Which area of Side is best for a sandy beach with a shallow sea entry and no big rocks?

If you want the easiest beach for children or anyone who prefers a gradual entry, look at hotels in Çolaklı: the shoreline is sandy and the sea stays shallow for a long stretch.

Similar conditions are usually found in Evrenseki and Kumköy — along the stretch from the start of Side’s resort area toward the Ancient City, the sea entry is gentle, sandy, and not known for large rocks.

Hotel beaches beyond Ancient Side also work if you want sand, but the water gets deep faster there, so they are less ideal if your priority is a very shallow entry.

If you want to avoid a steeper entry, Sorgun and Titreyengöl are usually not the first choice: the water gets deep almost immediately there, and the shoreline has pebbles at the entry.
